Our partner: Lebanese Social Responsibility (LSR)
LSR is a youth-led, non-political and non-confessional organization founded in 2015.
They work across Lebanon to support vulnerable communities through:
- Food assistance and community kitchens
- Support for women and children
- Education and youth programs
- Community and livelihood support
With a strong network of staff and volunteers, LSR operates on the ground in areas including Jbeil, Tripoli, and Marjaayoun, delivering support where it is most needed.
Their work is built around dignity, accountability, and a deep understanding of local communities.
Every order supports someone in need
At Soukit, we believe that building a marketplace also means taking responsibility for the community around us.
That’s why a portion of every order placed on Soukit goes toward providing food to people in need across Lebanon.
How it works
With every purchase:
- A percentage of the order is allocated to food support
- Soukit uses this amount to purchase food directly
- The food is then delivered to our partner, Lebanese Social Responsibility (LSR)
- LSR distributes it to families and individuals in need
This system keeps things simple, direct, and transparent.
